This is a perfect example of what I am talking about!
People are so quick to say why? WHY does GOD allow bad things to happen.
HE DOES NOT, WE DO, our society DOES, we are all too busy with OURSELVES, and our selfishness chasing that pot of gold at the end of that rainbow somewhere.
I'm serious people we really need to re-look & re-think our social ethics and our social make up within our own family values and what really matters. Can we really afford to leave OUR children ALONE in the hands of computers, the internet, video games and the entertainment industry via movies & music? Just what are we exposing to our children as acceptable in our society.
Seung Hui Cho is a good example of a person that probably needed a lot more profesional treatment then he got, or should have recieved, so is he to blame? is god to blame? NO! We are, his family is to some extent, I realize they are suffering enough at this time, but for the sake of arguement I think they too would agree, it's not the lack of love to want to do it, but sometimes it's the time and or money to do it.
Thus the government forcing us to be double income families to support all of our endevours that we have been brainwashed through the masses of media saying what job is popular or what job pays the best, go figure? What jobs are these, are they making the rules as they go along to fit the needs, forcing us to work certain jobs, male and female alike as far as the so called equality women fought for years ago, NOW where are we?
Someone has to stand up and start saying something about this. It's not just GUN LAWS or DRUGS, it's TIME and what can we afford to spend TIMEWISE. What the government allows us to have timewise with OUR families. What keeps us apart? what draws a family apart?
Every man or women for themselves is pretty much the times we live in along with the disposable mantality of easily replacing whatever you need from jobs to relationships to everything down to a bic razor.
We spend far too much time chasing materialism than we do chasing spiritual knowledge and hightening ourselves to a better level of conscience. Become more aware of the economic & social dimise we are following.
It's moments like these that make me feel ashamed to be human.
Would love to hear some input on this.
